A theatre director aims to stage a play with his mother, a former actress battling severe Alzheimer's disease, in the lead role. As he grapples with proving the project's legitimacy and significance, he also begins to fear inheriting her condition. Confronting his deepest fears, he dedicates himself to ensuring the play's success.
